We got our hands on the new PlayStation Plus service, which was launched in three categories, which are Essential, Extra, and Deluxe. We have tried the Deluxe category, which is the highest category currently available in the Kingdom. This category has two additional advantages over the rest of the categories: Classics Catalog and Game Trials.

Currently, there are 37 classic games available on the service from PS1, PS2, and PSP games. The first PlayStation games feature titles such as Tekken 2, Syphon Filter, and Oddworld. The PlayStation 2 games include titles such as Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud, and Wild Arms 3, with PSP titles like echochrome. The variety of titles available is good for the launch, but we hope to add more third-party titles in the future from the titles that have achieved widespread popularity on PlayStation devices.

The simulation is good for classic games

The level of emulation we liked for the titles available in Classics Catalog, we can confirm that classic third-party games like Tekken 2 run at 60 frames, and in the future the service will have the option to switch between 50 and 60 Hz for games that were available at 50 Hz for better performance. The image looks clear in larger dimensions than the original image and we did not notice any graphic defects. The simulation offers several additional options, such as the Rewind option, which allows choosing a specific moment to return to at any time, the ability to store and reload at any time, as well as the ability to change the screen dimensions, and there is an option to change the image filter to add lines similar to those that were appearing on TV screens The old CRT, but it is not possible to redistribute the buttons and change the control.

The basic PlayStation Plus features are fully available on all categories, and they are advantages that have become of real value with the cumulative years. We have online multiplayer support, cloud storage up to 100GB, free games per month, play-sharing, game help, exclusive discounts, as well as exclusive in-game content such as skins and previously accessed Playstation Plus Collection games.
