Assassin's Creed Mirage Leaks Indicate Crowd Reuse From Unity
Ubisoft found no escape from the massive leaks and was forced to officially reveal the Assassin's Creed Mirage game about a week before the launch of the Ubisoft Forward event dedicated to revealing the title, and it seems that the leaks will not stop until the launch of the event, as we recently got new information regarding the main city and virtual characters.
According to the upcoming leaks by j0nathan, the game will include only one city, Baghdad, which is divided into four individual regions, each with its own leader. On the rooftops, a dense amount of NPCs, movie clips of assassinations, and parkour skills.
It is said that Mirage will attempt to recreate the crowd density introduced in 2014's Assassin's Creed Unity, which was set during the French Revolution and saw a massive number of NPCs on screen at once to express the chaos and randomness of France of that era.
However, those crowds caused serious performance issues, leading Ubisoft to apologize and offer players a free Dead Kings expansion.
